It was great, even though the weather sucked! Congenial group, no drama. The accommodations were perfect. The 2 nights at Crom Castle more than made up for the weather; that was a real Downton Abbey experience. The gardens were lovely, favorites were June Blake’s & A C’s, both exquisite. So jealous, no way I can duplicate. Ginger was a good guide, her acquaintanceship with the garden owners paved the way for a lot of perks that would not normally be available to us. Ginger, we had an absolute blast! Every place we stayed at had some sort of incredible history and a seemingly limitless amount of charm. Traquair House in the Borderlands was a definite highlight. They even have a hedge maze out back! All that aside, Ginger knocked it out of the park. She put together a trip that allowed both of us to see some bucket list places in the region. There was never an issue of a lack of transportation, or a hotel failing to recognize our booking. We spent nearly three weeks trekking across the UK and everything was right on schedule. We did miss a ferry on the way to the Isle of Skye, but that was our fault. The three hour detour was worth it though. Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries you’ll ever see. I could go on all day, but the point I’m trying to make is that Ginger put together a dream vacation of a lifetime. So many memories and moments that we’ll never forget. If you’re considering a trip to the UK, give Ginger a call. We’ll without a doubt be contacting her again for a future trip to the Isles! Cheers Ginger!

Ginger’s choice of accommodations and a personal driver made for a delightful trip. From city locations to remote locations each hotel was remarkable. Their pubs and restaurants were top notch. Paul, our driver, was an absolute gem! He was prompt, knowledgeable, personable, and offered interesting conversations and fascinating facts. Paul took some “off the beaten path” roads which allowed us to see things like peat being harvested by mechanically cutting peat blocks from the bog to dry out for later use. John, our personal tour guide in Dublin to Guinness Storehouse and The Jameson Distillery, was great, as well as Gabe, our guide on Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands. Ginger was easy to work with and helped us create an itinerary that touched on all our desires and more. And the weather was sunny and dry! It all made for a very memorable trip. June 4, 2025
